Sometimes it is like reading tracks, by carefully approaching, it needs time.

To upgrade the view over the beautiful Traunsee lake our client wished for a new attic floor with a maximum of transparency. The classic rural look of the house needed to be continued, so we decided to work with wood and classic elements as shutters and planks. In the end the newly gained 120m2 were designed openly, so that from any significant spot inside you can see the lake. Even when you take a bath. 

Situated in a beautiful green park this modern villa contains space, light, height and permeability. The goal was to bring it to the state of art in matters of modern luxury interior design. A sight of tranquility and power. On the other hand all actions done within daylight are upstairs, with a tremendous view. Somehow it is all upside down.

Sometimes Viennese building law its tough, especially in protected areas of the city. So you need to be inventive, when it comes to rooftops. In this case we just openend the roof membrane with hugh windows, but we did not change it. So it did not need to be approved by the authorities. The only problem was that the remaining space was long, high, but tight. We managed to make these eventual weaknesses to its strengths,by leaving the space permiable and transparent.
